Companies originated from the People’s Republic of China, belonging to the Telecommunications, Energy, Logistic and Infrastructure industries, interested in investing in El Salvador, learned yesterday about the opportunities of doing commerce and investing in our country. These were set out by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA).

 

The president of PROESA, Salvador Gómez Góchez, stated, as well, that there is an interest from both countries in diversifying the bilateral commerce, not only in traditional products, like coffee or sugar, but in products with a high export potential, like balsam, cacao, among others.

 

On his behalf, Yu Jianlong, general secretary of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) expressed that there are big opportunities in the exchange of goods regarding nostalgic products like coffee, sugar and honey. Likewise, he stated that they want to diversity the products that will be part of the imports of the Chinese market.

 

Within the Chinese companies that visit El Salvador are: China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd., China Huadian Corporation Ltd.,SINOTRANS & CSC Holding Co. Ltd., Shining CTAS International and Hytera Communications Corporation Limited. All of them are amongst the biggest creators of employment in the Asian region.

Empresas provenientes de la República Popular China de los sectores de Telecomunicaciones, Energía, Logística e Infraestructura interesadas en invertir en El Salvador conocieron ayer las oportunidades de comercio e inversión en nuestro país, presentadas por el Organismo Promotor de Exportaciones e Inversiones de El Salvador (PROESA).

 

El presidente de PROESA, Salvador Gómez Góchez, expresó que además hay interés por parte de ambos países  por diversificar el comercio bilateral no solo en productos tradicionales como el café y el azúcar, sino en productos con gran potencial de exportación, como el bálsamo y el cacao, entre otros.

 

Por su parte, Yu Jianlong, secretario general de la Cámara China de Comercio Internacional (CCOIC) expresó que había grandes oportunidades de intercambio de bienes en materia de productos nostálgicos, como café, azúcar y miel. Expresó, además, que desean diversificar los productos que formarán parte de las importaciones del mercado chino.

 

Dentro de las empresas chinas que visitan El Salvador se encuentran China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd., China Huadian Corporation Ltd.,SINOTRANS & CSC Holding Co. More than a thousand jobs have been generated by Aeroman, due to the construction of its sixth hangar, located in the International Airport Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez. The leading company in Latin-America has been supported by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) throughout its installation and expansion in El Salvador.

 

The president of the autonomous institution, Salvador Gómez Góchez, attended this week to the inauguration of the new construction, in which more than $20 million were invested and whose expansion will allow the simultaneous assistance of 35 aircrafts.

 

 “El Salvador is the best place to invest, our people is the most hard-working of the world”, expressed the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, during the opening of the supreme event.

Más de mil  empleos nuevos ha generado Aeromán con la construcción del sexto hangar, ubicado en las instalaciones del Aeropuerto Internacional Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez. La empresa líder en toda Latinoamérica ha recibido el apoyo del Organismo Promotor de Exportaciones e Inversiones de El Salvador (PROESA) para su instalación y expansión en El Salvador.

 

El presidente de la autónoma, Salvador Gómez Góchez, asistió esta semana a la inauguración de la obra, en la que se invirtieron más de $20 millones y cuya ampliación permitirá brindar asistencia a 35 aeronaves de forma simultánea.

 

 “El Salvador es el mejor lugar donde pueden invertir, nuestra gente es la más trabajadora del mundo”, externó el presidente de la República, Nayib Bukele, durante la apertura del magno evento.

During the first general meeting of approach the president of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA), Salvador Gómez Góchez, spoke to PROESA’s employees and assured job stability, teamwork and transparency in its management.

Estabilidad laboral, trabajo en equipo y transparencia en su gestión fueron los mensajes principales del presidente del Organismo Promotor de Exportaciones e Inversiones de El Salvador (PROESA) Salvador Gómez Góchez, cuando se dirigió ayer al personal interno de PROESA durante la primera reunión general de acercamiento.

 

Asimismo, aseguró que tendría un mandato con oficina de puertas abiertas y atención en pro del buen funcionamiento de PROESA.

 

Gómez Góchez se desempeñó, desde el año 2015, como parte de la Gerencia de Inversiones de PROESA, labor desde la cual veló por la atracción de inversión extranjera directa hacia El Salvador, principalmente estableciendo canales de comunicación y acercamiento con los salvadoreños residentes en el exterior (SALEX) interesados en hacer negocios en su país natal.

The Export and Investments Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) clarifies, in accordance with the publications of defamatory and slanderous nature in social media, that:

 

  1. The diverse modifications made in the content of the internal regulation of PROESA (RIT) were registered in 2017 and were realized with the purpose of fulfilling the legal national norms. The most important are contemplated in the Law of Equality, Equity and Eradication of the discrimination against women, DECREE N° 645. Due to the mentioned before, the new regulation of internal work entered in validity in April 1st of 2019.

 

  1. The realized modifications to the RIT were a result of the agreement, dialogue and consensus of an interinstitutional commission formed by the Human Resources areas, the Administrative and Legal Management, the Gender Unit and the Internal Audit of PROESA.

 

  1. The internal-institutional regulation establishes in the 54th article, named “the compensation by voluntary withdrawal”, recites as follows: “The personnel will have the right of an economic compensation for an equivalent amount of one month of accrued income to the date and proportionally by fractions of a year, for each labored year, up to a maximum amount equivalent to six months, when its functions cease by voluntary withdrawal, when it has as minimum two years of service in the institution. All the mention above exempts the owner of the institution, according to the budget availability.

 

  1. The modifications were realized in virtue of delivering more and a better guarantee of the full exercise of its rights to the workers of the autonomous.

 

  1. PROESA is a compromised entity with the respect and guarantee of rights of all its personnel.

The Promoter Organism of Exports and Investments (PROESA), along with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), inaugurated today the VI Business Meeting “A world to export 2019”.  

                                                                                                                           

Both institutions unite their efforts with the purpose of promoting the exportable Salvadorian supply to potential international buyers in order to expand it to new markets, through the execution of the event. This activity is supported by the Ministry of External Relations through the Embassies and the Program of Economic, Commercial and Tourism Counselling. 

 

In the VI Business Meeting, around 100 national companies, from the food and beverages, agroindustry and diverse manufacture sectors will have the opportunity to do business, create connections with potential partners, and concretize exports with international businesses that visit El Salvador.

 

It is expected to develop more than 200 business meetings during the event, in which 100 Salvadorian companies will meet with 20 potential buyers, coming from the United States, Canada, Greece, Guatemala, Panama, Spain and Ecuador, to show their exportable supply and to establish commercial relations in the short, medium and long term.

 

During the development of 2017’s edition of the Business Meeting, 15 buyers and 96 exporters participated, reporting around 200 meetings with negotiated amounts of $3.5 million. In 2018, 16 buyers, 78 exporters participated, generating 159 business meetings that meant negotiated amounts of $2.6 million. This year’s goal is to increase last year’s amount in a 10%.

 

El Salvador closed 2018 with exports of $5,904.5 million, which represented $144.5 million more that the exported in 2017, with an annual growth of 2.5%, according to the Central Reserve Bank.

Empresas provenientes de la República Popular China de los sectores de Telecomunicaciones, Energía, Logística e Infraestructura interesadas en invertir en El Salvador conocieron ayer las oportunidades de comercio e inversión en nuestro país, presentadas por el Organismo Promotor de Exportaciones e Inversiones de El Salvador (PROESA).

 

El presidente de PROESA, Salvador Gómez Góchez, expresó que además hay interés por parte de ambos países  por diversificar el comercio bilateral no solo en productos tradicionales como el café y el azúcar, sino en productos con gran potencial de exportación, como el bálsamo y el cacao, entre otros.

 

Por su parte, Yu Jianlong, secretario general de la Cámara China de Comercio Internacional (CCOIC) expresó que había grandes oportunidades de intercambio de bienes en materia de productos nostálgicos, como café, azúcar y miel. Expresó, además, que desean diversificar los productos que formarán parte de las importaciones del mercado chino.

 

Dentro de las empresas chinas que visitan El Salvador se encuentran China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd., China Huadian Corporation Ltd.,SINOTRANS & CSC Holding Co. Ltd., Shining CTAS International y Hytera Communications Corporation Limited. Todas las firmas se encuentran entre los mayores generadores de empleo en la región asiática.

More than a thousand jobs have been generated by Aeroman, due to the construction of its sixth hangar, located in the International Airport Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez. The leading company in Latin-America has been supported by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) throughout its installation and expansion in El Salvador.

 

The president of the autonomous institution, Salvador Gómez Góchez, attended this week to the inauguration of the new construction, in which more than $20 million were invested and whose expansion will allow the simultaneous assistance of 35 aircrafts.

 

 “El Salvador is the best place to invest, our people is the most hard-working of the world”, expressed the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, during the opening of the supreme event.

Más de mil  empleos nuevos ha generado Aeromán con la construcción del sexto hangar, ubicado en las instalaciones del Aeropuerto Internacional Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez. La empresa líder en toda Latinoamérica ha recibido el apoyo del Organismo Promotor de Exportaciones e Inversiones de El Salvador (PROESA) para su instalación y expansión en El Salvador.

 

El presidente de la autónoma, Salvador Gómez Góchez, asistió esta semana a la inauguración de la obra, en la que se invirtieron más de $20 millones y cuya ampliación permitirá brindar asistencia a 35 aeronaves de forma simultánea.

 

 “El Salvador es el mejor lugar donde pueden invertir, nuestra gente es la más trabajadora del mundo”, externó el presidente de la República, Nayib Bukele, durante la apertura del magno evento.

During the first general meeting of approach the president of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA), Salvador Gómez Góchez, spoke to PROESA’s employees and assured job stability, teamwork and transparency in its management. 

 

Likewise, he assured that his term will have an open door office policy and a special attention on behalf of the good functioning of PROESA.

 

Gómez Góchez performed, since 2015, as part of the Investments Management of PROESA, where he looked after the attraction of foreign direct investment towards El Salvador, principally by establishing communication channels and approach with the Salvadorians residents abroad (SALEX) interested in doing business in its home country.

Estabilidad laboral, trabajo en equipo y transparencia en su gestión fueron los mensajes principales del presidente del Organismo Promotor de Exportaciones e Inversiones de El Salvador (PROESA) Salvador Gómez Góchez, cuando se dirigió ayer al personal interno de PROESA durante la primera reunión general de acercamiento.

 

Asimismo, aseguró que tendría un mandato con oficina de puertas abiertas y atención en pro del buen funcionamiento de PROESA.

 

Gómez Góchez se desempeñó, desde el año 2015, como parte de la Gerencia de Inversiones de PROESA, labor desde la cual veló por la atracción de inversión extranjera directa hacia El Salvador, principalmente estableciendo canales de comunicación y acercamiento con los salvadoreños residentes en el exterior (SALEX) interesados en hacer negocios en su país natal.

The Export and Investments Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) clarifies, in accordance with the publications of defamatory and slanderous nature in social media, that:

 

  1. The diverse modifications made in the content of the internal regulation of PROESA (RIT) were registered in 2017 and were realized with the purpose of fulfilling the legal national norms. The most important are contemplated in the Law of Equality, Equity and Eradication of the discrimination against women, DECREE N° 645. Due to the mentioned before, the new regulation of internal work entered in validity in April 1st of 2019.

 

  1. The realized modifications to the RIT were a result of the agreement, dialogue and consensus of an interinstitutional commission formed by the Human Resources areas, the Administrative and Legal Management, the Gender Unit and the Internal Audit of PROESA.

 

  1. The internal-institutional regulation establishes in the 54th article, named “the compensation by voluntary withdrawal”, recites as follows: “The personnel will have the right of an economic compensation for an equivalent amount of one month of accrued income to the date and proportionally by fractions of a year, for each labored year, up to a maximum amount equivalent to six months, when its functions cease by voluntary withdrawal, when it has as minimum two years of service in the institution. All the mention above exempts the owner of the institution, according to the budget availability.

 

  1. The modifications were realized in virtue of delivering more and a better guarantee of the full exercise of its rights to the workers of the autonomous.

 

  1. PROESA is a compromised entity with the respect and guarantee of rights of all its personnel.

The Promoter Organism of Exports and Investments (PROESA), along with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), inaugurated today the VI Business Meeting “A world to export 2019”.  

                                                                                                                           

Both institutions unite their efforts with the purpose of promoting the exportable Salvadorian supply to potential international buyers in order to expand it to new markets, through the execution of the event. This activity is supported by the Ministry of External Relations through the Embassies and the Program of Economic, Commercial and Tourism Counselling. 

 

In the VI Business Meeting, around 100 national companies, from the food and beverages, agroindustry and diverse manufacture sectors will have the opportunity to do business, create connections with potential partners, and concretize exports with international businesses that visit El Salvador.

 

It is expected to develop more than 200 business meetings during the event, in which 100 Salvadorian companies will meet with 20 potential buyers, coming from the United States, Canada, Greece, Guatemala, Panama, Spain and Ecuador, to show their exportable supply and to establish commercial relations in the short, medium and long term.

 

During the development of 2017’s edition of the Business Meeting, 15 buyers and 96 exporters participated, reporting around 200 meetings with negotiated amounts of $3.5 million. In 2018, 16 buyers, 78 exporters participated, generating 159 business meetings that meant negotiated amounts of $2.6 million. This year’s goal is to increase last year’s amount in a 10%.

 

El Salvador closed 2018 with exports of $5,904.5 million, which represented $144.5 million more that the exported in 2017, with an annual growth of 2.5%, according to the Central Reserve Bank.
