“Organization of fairs and assembly of stands” is the name of the training that was conferred this week, by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known in Spanish as PROESA), under the “Strengthening my company” qualification organized by the Comisión Nacional de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (CONAMYPE in Spanish).

The objective of the tuition was to provide tools to micro entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs about partaking in local fairs and the proper way to set up a stand for these events. The activity will benefit firms in the Manufacturing, Food and Beverage sector.

Among the topics addressed are: types of trade fairs, selection of fairs, setting objectives for participation in fairs; as well as relevant elements to prepare for the involvement in a trade fair, such as establishment of a budget, selection of the representative of the company that will participate in it, procedures for contracting a booth space, the proper decoration of a stand and the arrangement of promotional material.

The training was held on Wednesday, October 23 and was directed by the Commercial Promotion Department of PROESA.

PROESA is committed to continue accompanying all Salvadoran firms that seek to expand in both national and international market.
