The president of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known as PROESA), Salvador Gómez Góchez, held an important meeting with representatives of the government and private companies of Peru, during his participation in the event called "Economic-commercial relations between El Salvador and Peru".

There, Salvador Gómez Góchez expressed that with this meeting "we reaffirm the commitment of the Government of El Salvador to continue working hard for the development and consolidation of trade and investment relations with Peru". Likewise, he recognized the contribution made to the country by important investment projects of Peruvian capital, such as OPP Film, Ransa, Química Nava, Roker Peru, San Miguel Industries and Quimelsa.

Also, he pointed out the agility with which the government of president Nayib Bukele has carried out processes such as the firm of the free trade agreement with South Korea, an action that seeks to place El Salvador as a point of reference for trade with East Asia.

During the activity, the assistants also knew information about investment and trade opportunities with El Salvador, with the support of PROESA, and they knew more details about the work and activities of the Salvadoran-Peruvian Chamber of Commerce (CALSAPE), the organizer of the meeting.

This informative and networking breakfast was also attended by the ambassador of the Republic of Peru in El Salvador, Librado Orozco Zapata; the minister of Economy of El Salvador, María Luisa Hayem; ,and the president of CASALPE, Catalina Morales de Murcia.
