Last week, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known as PROESA) participated in the inauguration of Hotel Boutique Casa 1,800, in the city of Suchitoto, an investment that has been constantly supported by PROESA for its development.

The project has been launched by the Tourist Group Salvadorean Tours, a Salvadoran capital firm, and it will generate about 50 jobs in the department of Cuscatlán.

The hotel has 12 rooms set and decorated under the inspiration of a colonial Suchitoto and the infrastructure chosen has been recognized as Cultural Heritage of El Salvador. It will join to Café 1,800, which already has creations of emblematic dishes, and is a friendly space with the environment, operating free of plastics.

This investment, explains the head of PROESA, Salvador Gómez Góchez, is a part of the Despegue Económico Plan, which is "a clear commitment to increase investment in El Salvador, to correct deficiencies and support economic areas that generate jobs, articulating all the State institutions and leading the country to true development.

The event was attended by the PROESA Investment Promotion manager, Vanessa Bandak; the general manager of the Salvadoran Corporation of Tourism, Juan José Pineda; the general manager and the Marketing manager of Casa 1,800, Cecilia Arias and Rodrigo Moreno; the Banca Pyme manager of Promerica Bank, Marianella Orellana; and father Mario Orellana, presbyter of the Santa Lucia Church, in Suchitoto.
