PROESA trains exporting companies in trade agreements

The Government of El Salvador, through the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) and the Ministries of Foreign Relations and Economy, is running a round of specialized virtual seminars under the subject:


"Promoting current trade agreements in El Salvador for exports in the new post-covid-19 environment".


Exporting companies are invited to participate as well as those who wish to start exporting.


The main topics discussed during the seminars will be:


·         General aspects of the trade agreement (applicable fees and norms).

·         Products with export potential according to the trade agreement and market trends.

·         Market information disseminated by our commercial offices in the target countries.

·         Support from the commercial offices in the target countries.


The seminars are being given through the virtual platform Teams with the following schedule:


·         September 2nd, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m:

Central American Common Market (includes Panama)

·         September 9, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m:

CAFTA-DR (Central American Free Trade Agreement - United States - Dominican Republic)

·         September 16, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m:

Dominican Republic

·         September 23rd, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m:

Association Agreement with the European Union (commercial relationship with Spain)
